Alright douchbags, less than 2 weeks till Stinsons and the trashtalking on this blog is blows. So far the only issues are that Reid is a Nancy Road Warrior and that BJ really doesn't like getting up early in the morning....

I'm pumped. My work output is probably going to be very low this week. Kinda like working for the government. Now that you can post anonymously, you can post as if you are Wilson.
ReplyDeleteStinson's '09 stickers should be in 2mrw. I might get an early jump on the road and make it to town a bit sooner. I might just stay in Tunica until Friday and roll from there...better not Uncle Sam might come looking....is Wilson even going to make it this year?? Its looking like Danny, Moore bros, Jake M. and myself are the only folks coming this year?

ReplyDeleteBoys, I just received a river report, for what it’s worth. They’re currently in a pattern of generating 2 generators from midnight until late morning, when they turn on several more. By the evening, they’ve had 7-8 running, then back down to 2 around midnight. The lake’s around 1 foot over normal pool, but they’re trying to get lowered to do some work in the state park, so they may be going full bore to get it down by next week, or they may get it down between now and then, and hold this pattern through the weekend. Either way, looks like a float is definitely possible, but we may want to get on the water by 0800-0830 to get the good fishing in and be able to pace ourselves on the float. Once they turn them all on, we’ll be at her mercy. Pass this info along so everyone who wants to float/fish can coordinate having boats by that time in the morning. I’m bringing my 2 kayaks, and Jeff plans to use my extra. Someone said something about using Reid’s extras. Not sure when Nate and Chuck are going to show. Brett said something about bringing a canoe or two. Tom/Matt, would you want to bring a canoe? I thought we might float down to White Hole, which would give us a little longer float (probably another 30-45 min past Stinsons). Brett said he floated this part last weekend and it took him about 2 hrs with 2 generators running. He also said we could put in by the golf course, so that should be around 20 min drive from Stinsons after we leave a vehicle at White Hole. These are all just suggestions, so let me know if you have any better ideas.
